Beck Hickman is an American-trained PA who is passionate about educating healthcare practitioners on the medical care of LGBTQ persons. For four years she worked at Howard Brown Health in Chicago, a large community health organisation providing care to the LGBTQ population. Beck has extensive experiencing prescribing hormone therapy for transgender and non-binary people while living in the United States. Currently she is a lecturer at St George's, University of London physician associate course and also works clinically in GP practice.
